Sheena Gogarty Design was set up in 1996. She has over 20 years experience in the design industry and she is highly skilled in WordPress, Google products, Dreamweaver, Indesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator software programmes.

WordPress trainer and website designer. In house graphic designer for Canada Life using Adobe In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop and Powerpoint. Web designer for small to medium size businesses using Dreamweaver , online software and HTML skills. Web trainer and my courses include Setting up a website, advance training in WordPress software and search engine optimisation.

1996 – 2009      Sheena Gogarty Design

I worked as an independent contractor supplying design services to a wide variety of organisations. Some projects involved the management of third party sub contractors and others were supplied on an individual basis.

I have organized conferences for companies such as Coca Cola, Bank of Ireland, Irish Theatre Awards and Irish Concrete Society. I have designed brochure and exhibition stands for companies such as Eircom, Dulux and the Irish Tourist board. I have worked on a range of heritage projects and clients including Waterford Crystal, Kinsale Wine Museum and the Youghal Heritage Centre.

1994 – 1996   Heritage Concepts Design Director

Heritage Concepts provides design service for Museums and visitor attractions. My responsibilities included: Prepare reports for funding & grant applications.

The supervision of the design team which included researchers, scriptwriters, designers and retailers All tenders and specification details for subcontractors and installation management Worked with clients on concepts and design layout.

1989 – 1994      HBM Ireland Ltd Managing Director

HBM Ireland Ltd is an international design group. The company specialises in designing stands for international exhibitions. I was responsible for setting up the Irish operation and for growing the business and the team here in Ireland.

1987 – 1989     HBM UK Ltd Senior Designer

Based in the UK I was responsible for the design development, project management and budget control for various clients including responsibility for the British Aerospace account which was a key client for the company. This role also included setting up and running trade shows throughout Europe and the Far East.
